These Terms and Conditions govern the professional services provided by New Horizons Global Education, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to individuals and companies (“clients,” “you,” or “your”) for both open enrollment classes and private group training, including coaching sessions. By registering for or utilizing any services, you agree to abide by these terms.

 

Information About Services

1. Registration Information for Open Enrollment Classes

To register for a class, a request must be made in advance of the class start date. Payment or method of billing is required at the time of registration. Registrations without payment or a confirmed billing method may be forfeited at any time prior to receipt of payment. As class sizes are limited, we recommend early registration to guarantee a space in the class.

2. Payment Information for Open Enrollment Classes

Credit card payments will be processed immediately upon registration. For registrations submitted without payment, invoices are sent prior to the class start date, and payment is due before class starts or within 30 days of the invoice date as arranged with the registration team.

3. Confirmation of Registration in Open Enrollment Classes

Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirmation. You will also receive a class confirmation email before the class start date, confirming that the class will proceed along with any pertinent pre-work instructions. Accommodations and meals are not included in tuition fees. Electronic course materials may be provided when available. Printed materials are available upon request for an additional fee.

4. Full Classes or Rescheduling Open Enrollment Classes

If a class is full or rescheduled, you will be notified via email and/or SMS messaging.

5. Coaching Sessions Scheduling and Delivery

Coaching sessions are 60 minutes long and must be completed within 12 months of purchase. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least one business day’s notice. Failure to reschedule within this time will result in forfeiture of the session.

6. Coaching Sessions Confidentiality

All New Horizons Global Education coaching services will be provided following the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.  Unless otherwise required with the coaching sponsor, information obtained during a coaching session will be kept in the strictest confidence and not released to the coaching sponsor.  Only general summaries, trends, and themes will be released to a coaching sponsor.  If a coaching request requires a different disclosure of client information, New Horizons Global Education will advise the client of the information that will be disclosed to the sponsor before conducting a coaching session.

7. Coaching Disclaimer

All coaching packages are designed to provide educational information regarding the subject matter covered during the delivered coaching sessions. Such packages are sold with the understanding that New Horizons Global Education is not engaging in rendering legal advice or other professional service.

Coaching services provided by New Horizons Global Education are designed to support personal and professional development and are not a substitute for counseling or therapy. Coaching focuses on setting and achieving goals, enhancing performance, and fostering growth. It is distinct from counseling or therapy, which addresses emotional or psychological issues. Participants acknowledge that coaching is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and any such concerns should be directed to a qualified mental health professional.

8. Individual Conduct Policy for Coaching

Individuals in our coaching programs are required to maintain respectful and professional conduct with coaches and staff.

Cancellations and Transfers 

 

1. Student Substitutions for Open Enrollment Classes

Student substitutions may be permitted at any time before the start of a class with prior approval. Email registration@newhorizonsglobal-ed.com with such requests.

2. Cancellation and Transfer Policies for Open Enrollment Classes

  • Fourteen days or more before the start of class: No charges for cancellation or transfer.

  • Thirteen days or fewer before the start of class: The full tuition is due, and there is no credit for transfer or refund. If rescheduling, additional payment for the new registration will be required.

3. No-Show Policy for Open Enrollment Classes

If a student fails to attend a class, the full tuition is due, and there will be no credit or refund.

​

4. Refunds and Credits for Open Enrollment Classes

Refunds for classes are available only if a cancellation is made 14 calendar days or more before the class start date. If a cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the class, a credit may be issued for future classes in certain circumstances. Contact registration@newhorizonsglobal-ed.com for such requests.

5. Coaching Sessions Payment and Refunds

Coaching packages must be paid in full in advance. Payments are non-refundable after the first session has been delivered.

6. Scheduling and Delivery of Coaching Sessions

  • All coaching sessions must be completed within 12 months. Failure to complete all coaching sessions within 12 months will result in forfeiture of the remaining coaching sessions.

  • Payments are non-refundable following the delivery of the first session of your purchased coaching package. A coach’s availability is reserved for the customer once the full schedule of sessions has been established. The schedule of coaching sessions may not exceed 12 months, and the availability of the coach will be reserved for that time period. The scheduling of sessions will be in accordance with these terms and conditions. Due to the reservation of a coach’s availability during the 12-month delivery period, once the schedule of coaching sessions has been established, a coach’s time cannot be repurposed for other assignments. The coaching sessions purchased are unique to the individual for whom the services are purchased. The services cannot be transferred to any other customer staff.

  • The full schedule of coaching sessions to be delivered in the 12-month period will be established by mutual agreement.

  • Coaching sessions may be rescheduled at no charge, with written notice received at least one business day before the session starts. If a session is not rescheduled in this time period, that session will be forfeited.

  • Missed coaching sessions due to an unforeseen emergency may be rescheduled at no cost (limited to one [1] occurrence) at the discretion of New Horizons Global Education.

 

Certificate of Completion

Students who attend the full class and meet all course requirements will receive an electronic Certificate of Completion from us. If students participate in training programs that lead to certifications from third-party institutions, such as the American Red Cross or the National Council for Wellbeing, they will receive certification from the respective institution. If a student has to miss part of the class due to illness or emergency, makeup time may be available when permissible.

 

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee 100% satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the service, contact us, and we will address your concerns and do what we can to make it right. For Private Group Training, we will redeliver the course at no additional cost.

 

Student Conduct Policy for Classes

Students attending New Horizons Global Education courses are expected to act professionally to other students, instructors, and New Horizons Global Education staff while attending a course. This includes ensuring that you do not improperly use or present as your own someone else’s words, thoughts, or data in a class assignment. To best support your own learning, you should complete all graded assignments in this course yourself, without any use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Please refrain from using AI tools to generate any content (text, video, audio, images, code, etc.) for an assignment or classroom exercise. Passing off any AI-generated content as your own (e.g., cutting and pasting content into written assignments or paraphrasing AI content) constitutes a violation of our Student Conduct Policy. If you have any questions about using generative AI, please contact customer service. In addition, professional conduct means that you do not engage in activity that provides an unfair or improper advantage in completing a course’s requirements. Further, in courses that require or allow student postings in New Horizons Global Education online forums, online portals, or platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes, professional conduct consists of: (1) not using these systems to damage, disable, overburden, or impair those systems or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of them; (2) not attempting to gain unauthorized access to these systems through hacking, password mining, or any other means; (3) not obtaining or attempting to obtain any materials or information stored on these systems other than those explicitly authorized by New Horizons Global Education; (4) not scraping or otherwise downloading in bulk any content on these systems, including but not limited to student postings, student information, online textbooks, course materials, trademarks, or logos; (5) not introducing or attempting to introduce viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, corrupted files, malware, spyware, or any other similar software that may damage the operation of another’s computer or property; (6) not posting content that [a] defames, harasses, or threatens others, [b] discusses illegal activities with intent to commit them, [c] infringes another’s intellectual property, [d] is profane, pornographic, obscene, indecent, or unlawful, [e] constitutes advertising or any form of commercial solicitation, [f] constitutes information related to partisan political activities, and/or [g] is intentionally inaccurate or posted with the intent of misleading others. Failure to abide by this policy may result in a student’s dismissal from a course and/or forfeiture of tuition payment(s).

 

Intellectual Property

By registering for or otherwise ordering a New Horizons Global Education course or training service, you agree and acknowledge that New Horizons Global Education training materials are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. Therefore, you cannot reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, or publicly display/perform such materials. In addition, you agree not to use the company’s training materials — including but not limited to the concepts and ideas expressed in the training — to create a competing product/service.

 

Third-Party Learning Elements

New Horizons Global Education courses contain learning elements and/or make use of systems from third-party vendors. The attendance in or purchase of a course constitutes acceptance of the third-party’s terms and conditions regarding the use of such elements/systems. For select courses, New Horizons Global Education may issue badges to eligible students to receive a credential. When badges are issued, student information will be shared with a third-party vendor. Acceptance of badges constitutes acceptance of the third party’s terms and conditions regarding the use of badges. These terms apply to both Open Enrollment class registrations/attendance and Private Group Training deliveries.

Audio, Photograph, and Video Recordings Policy

By registering for, attending, or ordering a New Horizons Global Education course, you agree to allow video/audio recording as necessary to complete the course if such recording is part of the curriculum. New Horizons Global Education will use these recordings solely to complete and improve the training quality and performance requirements of the class you attend. Some third-party learning services require full confidentiality and prohibit recording. We will notify students of this policy when the course takes place.

 

Student Content Disclaimer

You (the student) understand that when accessing and engaging with New Horizons Global Education online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes, you will be exposed to other student content from a variety of sources and that New Horizons Global Education is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, reliability, or intellectual property rights of or relating to such student content. You further understand and acknowledge that you may be exposed to student content that is inaccurate, offensive, defamatory, indecent, or objectionable; and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against New Horizons Global Education with respect thereto. New Horizons Global Education does not endorse any student content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice provided/submitted by students in the company’s online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by it to deliver virtual classes. New Horizons Global Education does not have any obligation to monitor any student content or any other student communications submitted or made through New Horizons Global Education online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes. However, New Horizons Global Education reserves the right to review student content and to exercise its sole discretion to edit or remove, in whole or in part, any student content at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the foregoing, upon receiving notice from a student that specific student content allegedly does not conform to New Horizons Global Education’s policies governing student content, New Horizons Global Education may investigate the allegation and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove the student content at issue, which it reserves the right to do at any time and without notice.

Our SMS campaigns may cover multiple use cases, including Customer Care and Marketing, to engage with you and improve our services and products. You may receive promotional messages, updates, notifications, or other relevant information.

2. Message Frequency

The frequency of messages may vary depending on your subscription, promotions, or updates. You will receive a minimum of [number] messages per month, though it may be more depending on your service and interaction with it.

 

3. Charges and Fees

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service provider. You are responsible for any charges or fees associated with your mobile device or data usage. New Horizons Global Education LLC does not cover the cost of sending or receiving SMS messages.

4. How to Opt-In

Employer-Sponsored Training

New Horizons Global Education, LLC may provide training services to employer-sponsored clients. Any agreement for employer-sponsored training services is between New Horizons and the employer organization.

 

Non-Discrimination Policy

New Horizons Global Education, LLC is committed to providing equal quality services to all clients. We value diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.

However, we reserve the right to decline services if the needs of the client exceed the capabilities or scope of services our company can provide. This decision will be made fairly and respectfully, to ensure the best possible outcome for all parties involved.

 

General Terms
